One can make rugs of any kind of carpet depending on its intended purpose. The types of carpets that are usually used are Sisal, Sisool, Wool Carpets, Coir, Seagrass, Jute and Tencil
Adding binding tape to a rug or runner creates a modern, stylish border. You will love the appearance of our tapes, which make your carpet look fantastic.
The tape does not increase the width of your rug or runner. It is folded over the edge of the carpet, professionally sewn around the four sides, folded over the raw edges, and stitched in place.
Approximately 55mm of tape is visible around the edges, but it can be made wider or narrower at your request.
Binding tapes come in various widths, materials and colour. Please note the number bellow the image and let us know when ordering.

Depending on the rug, binding corners can be lapped or mitred with either a top stitch or a hidden stitch.
